Hi, we are developping a plastic part that is to be injected. We would like to have bronze metal insert overmolted into this part (for shaft support). We are not sure yet what plastic will be used for this part.

Part is subject to temperature variation from -20deg.C to +60 deg.C. We do not have lots of experience with metal insert into plastic parts.

Do you know any "best pratice design guide" covering overmolding technics I could refer to so to create a good metal insert/plastic part design?

Regards, Tony
