I have written quite a few threads about the chimney stack + fan + oven problem that I am working on currently. Basically it is a natural gas oven, 20 feet of chimney stack + a variable speed fan at the end to control the excess air for the fuel combustion. We have an orifice in the chimney stack to simulate pressure drop in the heat exchanger that we plan to install in the chimney stack in the future. Apart from several other pressure losses occuring in the system, I guess the entry loss ( where air enters the oven ) is an important pressure loss contributor -- But I am having a hard time figuring out how to account for the pressure loss that happens due to the air that is sucked into hte system thru the myriad number of leakages and vents in the oven.. Any thoughts or direction to a similar problem that has been discussed in this forum before ?
