Hello,

I am using Com624P to calculate the deflection of a laterally loaded pile. The input and run parts seem to happen without any problem. But when I get to the graphic part I do not have any deflection curve available, only the p-y curves that I asked for during the input.
Also the ouput file looks weird; it contains input and output information but nothing on the applied load and the deflection (which appears in the examples for instance).
Has anyone any idea as to why the deflection curve is missing and how to get it?
Thanks.

Ben

Did you check generate "top deflection vs pile length", under options?

Yes. I think I have all the input correct. It actually works now, I don't know what the problem was, maybe just some temporary bug.

Better use LPILE for laterally loading pile. This program also use p-y curve, but it is more user friendly than COM624, especially the latest version, LPILE plus Ver. 5
I think the two programs are originally developed by the same guy, Prof. Reese of the Univ of Texas.
