Options to Modify Compound Weld Symbols in NX 7.5?

In need of some advice about Compound Weld Symbols in NX 7.5 - can they be modified from what the system is giving me currently to what is being asked for (as shown in the attached JPGs)? Off hand I am thinking of making a symbol, but I was hoping the Weld Symbol package has some functionality that I may not be aware of. Thanks in advance to whomever can give me an answer on this.

MASawtell, here's a few I filed against the drafting in 7.5 for not following standards or behaving incorrectly: 6782055, 6783260, 6777862. They're still open and most likely will be converted to an ER so I doubt that any of the new NX versions have them fixed.
