Does anyone have a good term for the face of a retaining wall that is not the soil face?

Thanks in advance!

Exposed face?

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.

KootK,

That is pretty good. I haven't been able to come up with anything and have heard a few other people stumble when referring to the exposed face as well.

I appreciate it.

Exposed face, open face, front face ...
Other side, back side, soil side, back face, dirt side.

Irritatingly leaky face...

Run for your life side...

When associated with building projects, interior face is often meaningful.

I have used interior and inside face before but really struggled with what to call it for a site retaining wall. I like "weather face" as well, thank you msquared48.
