We just a Really bad luck streak with our Laser we had a really bad head crash wich broke off our HS panel jack, anyways we got that squared away a day later when we got that little part, then one of our fabulous engineers started messing with our cutting conditions and BOOM we blow a lens haha, so we clean the mirrors we can get to without Amada being here, we pop a new 7.5 lens in and Nothing we cant cut or even get a tape shot,We thought we really contaminated the mirrors even further back we were kicking the cement floors! So we finally get Amada out after 3 days of no cutting and he informs us that we were using 5" lens in a 7.5" Mount Our laser was fine just couldnt get it to focus correctly with a 5" lens in short 7.5" housing obviously!
Now we are looking into these E-Z mounts to do our own Lens mounting, has anyone ever used these and know the cost??????????? Thanks alot sorry for the rant

Hi LaserSSpyder,

The Ophir EZ mounts are fantastic. I have been remounting Amada lenses for 6 years with the old indium wire and the EX mounts are so much easier, especially if you have large fingers. No screws, springs, tools needed. They range in price between $215 and $275, depending on the mount. This is Mate Precision Tooling pricing. If you look on Ophir's website you can find more information on them. Good luck.
