opening v4 export into v5r7

I am trying to get a v4 export to open in v5r7. is there some other method i need to use other than file and open.

You have to use this command (targed) in shortcut

\intel_a\code\binCNEXT.exe -batch -e ExtractModelFromSequential

then you get a new window for translating from exp to
model file.

That worked for 3 out of 7 of my files...

The remaining files give me a "not sequential file type" error. Any suggestions??

Schick,

Usually, when this error message appears, it is due
to the fact that somewhere along the line someone
did not use "Binary" and instead they used "ASCII"
Have the sending site resend the files, making sure
that they use the "Binary" option.
