Hi, I have a need to open *.SLDPRT and *.SLDASM part in Creo 2..... Is this possible if so please can you give me a heads up on how to do ?

Thanks

open up the parts in solidworks. if you can't open them because you don't have a SW license, have the contractor who created them do this. export them to a neutral file format (STEP, IGES, Parasolid). open the exported file in Creo.

With Creo 2.0, you can open Solidworks files. Creo does a parasolid translation, which gives you a single import feature. This works for Solidworks 2012 and older files.

See this document from PTC: CS17730, or search the knowledge base for "open solidworks".

You can save as ProE from SolidWorks.
