open dft template

Does anyone know if its possible to open my old academic .dft template in my regular licensed solid edge? Its version 20

Hi,

unfortunately this is not possible. An academic license can
open files created by a commercial license but not the other
way round

However, if you still have access to an academic licence somewhere you could save it as dxf and import it. You'd lose some intelligence probably but may work OK.
