I am thinking to by online access to AISC Manual (AISC offers 50% off $67.50/year). I would appreciate any feedback (pros and cons) from current users of online Manual.
Thank you,

I used to have my own hard copy, but now I think it is a good idea to use the online version, as I am tired of the frequent update/changes.

Unless you need highly-portable access, I'd recommend the paper copy. I have access to both and 99% of the time, I turn to the paper copy.

My general concern with online manuals is:
1) Restricted access to internet connections
2) Limitations on PDF for printing or extracting page
3) Sometimes the format they are offered is a "reader" type interface which can lag and or have restrictions with screen shots

I like hard copies because you can annotate, photocopy, bookmark, etc. as needed. Obviously they have their limitations on access, but it really works for my workflow. I would inquire with the organization to see the format they use and limitations.

Thank you all for your feedback. I will stick with the paper copy.
