I am being asked to review horizontal cracks; cracks are parallel to the double tee spans, in a patio floor that was designed in 1966. The floor is framed with double tees. They are designated on the as-builts as “F-DT14-L”. Please see attached framing plan. It is clear that they are 14 inch deep double tees with 2 inch campsite topping. However, I do not have in my library any load tables for double tees with such precise description. The project is in Central Florida.

I appreciate a post of such load table from anyone.

Lutfi...contact the Florida Concrete and Products Association in Orlando. They might have something in their library. Their focus has changed a bit over the years since they are no longer affiliated with the PCA; but they did have quite a few publications at one time. Here's their website:

Also, you might try the Central Florida Chapter of ACI. Contact Doug Thomas at Cemex in Orlando for that. Also, you can contact Jack Tobin at Cemex...he has been in the Orlando area for a long time and probably knows where to find info such as this.

Thanks Ron for the information. I was planning on calling them tomorrow and also call Dura-Stress since they have been around for a long time as well.

I'll see if we have a PCI Handbook which goes back that far. I'm not sure if this is a custom designation or not.
