OIL STORAGE TANKS FLOATING ROOF CONSTRUCTION

Hi
Could anyone advice on latest methods on how to erect a large diameter floating roof for oil storage? I am more concerned on the roof part of construction. Thanks

My company supplies simple scaffolding with posts every 7'x7' or 8'x8' on center with simple screwjacks at the top. They lay the pieces on top, adjust the jacks to align the plates and weld in place.

Seems to work pretty well - we have done a bunch of them over the years.

Not for that particular application - at least not on our website. We just do a few a year. You can check out BEIS.com for general scaffolding.
