Hello to everybody. In my job we have two gas engines. They are turbocharged, at 600KW. The fuel is landfill gas.
1. In one engine it was appeared at the same time that the oil level is low and high but the oil level is 100% ok. The above alarms were impossible to be canceled. Finally after some days the alarm oil level low disappeared but the oil level high continue existing and we can not cancel it. I have checked the sensors and they are ok. I am not worried about the alarm but I am afraid that something else is wrong and as a result the alarm "oil level high" and "oil level low" are appeared. Have you faced any similar problem? What had caused it? Before answer please read also the second point.
2. On the same engine at 500KW the intake manifold pressure is 20cmHg vacum. It should be approximately 50cmHg possitive.
Both of the above problems have been appeared after we have repaired one cylinder which had had broken piston rings. I have also came in contact with the service but I want another opinions too.
