Hello,
What is it special oil VD 177967000 Aerzen for screw compressor type VMX and VMY? Is it mineral or synthetic oil, what is kind of base and kinematic viscosity this oil? Do you have MSDS for this oil? Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Viki

Aerzen market their own oils, although not necessarily made by them. They are very secretive about details of the products and do not supply links to product information or MSDS on their website. Screwcompressor oil normally can be both mineral or synthetic, with a viscosity in accordance with ISO VG 32 of 46. Since the oil comes in very intimate contact with heated compressed air very good oxidation stability is required. The better lubricants for this application are nowadays manufactured on the basis of a API Group III or IV baseoil, with appropriate additives to enhance oxidation resistance.

I am afraid that you need to contact Aerzen to get more information about details of the oils they can supply.
