I just upgraded to 2010 SP2 from 2008 SP5. I routinely use the offset entities command (with select chain checked) to produce an offset of a prior sketch.

Since I have upgraded, the select chain function doesn't seem to work. I now have to select approximately 10 sketch segments to get the same results I used to get with only one selection.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

OK. I figured it out. In 2008, when I would paste a sketch that was created in AutoCAD into my SW sketch, it would come is as line segments.

In 2010, when I paste an AutoCAD sketch into my SW sketch, it comes in as a block. It seems that the offset entities command will not find the chain if it is left as a block. When I explode the block, it works like a charm.
