Obstruction to sprinkler discharge for in-rack sprinkler

Dear sirs

Does anybody knows if table 8.6.5.1.2 from NFPA 13 Ed 2016 applies to in-rack sprinklers?

Ítem 8.13.5 Obstruction to in-rack discharge says: "In-rack sprinklers shall not be required to meet the obstruction criteria and clearance from storage requirements of Section 8.5".

No reference in 8.13.5 to 8.5 but since section 8.5 is general, and 8.6 particular for standar spray, it is not clear if the table applies.

8.13.5 supersedes 8.5 and .6
Specifically since there IS mention of 8.5 in 8.13

Once placed In Rack, they are really not considered Standard Spray. There is a different operational reason for them. Mainly, to prevent horizontal spreading.
