Object Enabler

I'm running 2002 on Win2000. For some reason, every time I open up a drawing I get consecutive dialaog boxes indicating that AutoCad is attempting to download object enablers from PointA. Can anyone give me a quick primer on what object enablers do? I have never seen this before.

Hi Fred,
You want to open a *.dwg edited by ADT or MDT...
Install the right Object Enabler, and open the *dwg.
