O-scope presentation of detonation (R4360)

During the hourly power changes on c-97s (R4360 with spark advance)in cruise configuration, during the leaning procedure, switching in 5 deg. adv. etc, I never had a chance to observe the scope patterns (Bendix Ign.Analzr). It was a tedious (I might say critical operation) that had to be done smoothly and carefully, to avoid encountering detonation conditions. Someone among us must have seen this combustion pattern.Would like to hear. egap
