Hi,
We are desining our own seal assembly for shaft/bore we would like to know the formila that links orong sizes to grouve dimentions we will be machining all aprt in our wirk shop we are using buna duro 90

You have not provided much detail about the application. This is the standard table we use for o-ring groove dimensions for most applications:

Download the Parkers O-ring Handbook. It's not strictly cut and dried.

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows.
 
There is no formula for that. You must consult the industrial standards for the particular type of application (static or dynamic, boss or face seal, pressure or vacuum, backup ring or not, dovetail or not, seal material, type of fluid or gas, pressure range, etc.). The Parker O-ring handbook is a good place to start. Also, O-ring manufacturers will have that information.
