Hi guys,

I'm working on designing a Nylon 66 part which grabs onto another part using a plastic snap finger. Nylon's flexural modulus decreases by about 4x when going from -40C to +40C. Source:
Is it therefore correct to say that if the snap finger was applying 4 pounds of force to the mating part at -40C, that force would decrease to 1 pound at +40C?

See the a simplified illustration attached for clarity.

Thanks!
