I am attempting to create several KBE (Knowledge based engineering) models for several products. Utilizing expressions to create features/suppress features I have been able to accomplish many variants of the parts I would like to create, however I just saw a Catia model that used formula based decisions to utilize one sketch or another based on logic of the expressions.
I am looking to find out if anyone is using "Expressions" or "Attributes" to make decisions on selecting one sketch over another. Additionally I would like to use the same technique to select one feature over another. An example of what I am trying to accomplish would be using one surface to trim a part or utilize a different surface in the same part to trim it in a different way for another, all driving off of formulas in my expressions or attributes.
Thank you for your help.

What you need to do is create ALL of possible alternate features (and this could include those defined using a Sketch) and assign a 'Suppress by Expression' operation to each one of them. Then using your logic, decide which feature(s) need to suppreessed and/or unsuppressed when.
