Hello, I am thinking in earlier versions of NX it was possible to add a view in drafting from a part or assembly which is not the current part. Insert-View-From Part it would've been. In this version I tried to use Insert-View-Base, but I can't select from the part that I want.

But if you really want to import a view from another part, it is possible in NX 8.5. Expand the "part" section of the dialog and select from the loaded parts or open one. If you do not see the part section of the dialog, try clicking on the gear icon on the left side of the dialog title bar and select the "show more" and the "show collapsed groups" options.
