NX8.5.3.3 MP4 Section view - foreground check box is not working

Hi,
I have a section view and I want to see the foreground. I go to section view style and turn on the foreground check box and nothing happens.

Is there a fix?

I am running NX8.5.3.3 MP4 in native.

What did you expect to see?

The 'Foreground' option, when toggled ON, means that any BODIES removed from the view due to the fact that they were in FRONT of the section line will be visible, but ONLY those bodies that were NOT 'cut' by the section curve.

Here is an example of a Section View where the 'Foreground' option is toggled OFF:

well, i have always wondered why and what that option was for.
And i still don't know

( I Assume that the programmer had the code ready and finished and the product manager said, " well ok, put it in there, you might never know when somebody will ask for it.")

Hi John,
Yes, the example you gave with 'Foreground' option toggled ON is what I want. Did you get it to work in version NX8.5. How about NX8.5.3.3 MP4? I can not. I have attached a picture of one I made in NX 6. The section view at the top is with background and foreground on. The view below is what I make after view dependent edit.

In NX 6 I need to turn on the background and foreground to see the foreground curves. In NX85 no combination lets me see the foreground. I would like to be able to turn off the background and turn on the foreground. That would be the best.
