I am having an issue when I try to create a pdf file of our drawings. I can go to File>Export>PDF and the file comes out fine, except the fonts are different from what we're using on our drawings. However, when I try to create a pdf file by clicking on the "Print" icon or clicking on File>Print, the drawing comes out on an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet. I created a sheet size so the drawing should print properly, but the pdf comes out with a lot of white space above and below the drawing. I've attached pics of the pdf settings. I hope that helps.

Thanks for your help,

Al

P.S.
We're using NX 6.0.0.24 on Windows 7, 64bit.

Thanks again!

Al

If you want the text to look exactly like what is on your drawing when you export a pdf, change the "output text" option to "polylines". This will convert the NX font to lines & arcs in the pdf output, preserving the exact shape of the font. The downside is, it is no longer "text" in the pdf file; meaning you won't be able to copy & paste it or use the search function to find something. The issue would probably go away entirely if you switched to a true type font for your drawing annotations.
