Hi,
Anyone know how if you have an existing array of features, and then want to add more features to it, how you include them into the original array? Editing the 'instance feature' dialog brings up the array's dimensional properties, but not which featuers it looks for.

Thanks,

Simon

Hello Simon, it depends of the feature, for example, if you add an edge blend you can check "Blend all instances" in the settings drop down section.

I'd recommend Instance Geometry over Array unless there's something that Array is doing that Instance Geometry cannot.

If you're talking about Instance Geometry then you can add or remove geometry from the selection criteria quite easily.

For feature instances of rectangular or circular arrays there does not appear to be scope for ordinarily changing the selected content. However you can get around this if you plan for it by adding the features that you want to include in your array to a group, or feature set as it will be listed in the feature navigator. Then you can select the feature set as the item to array and later add or remove feature as required.

Cheers
