NX3 Motion joint limits?

Hi, I am wanting to impose a displacement restriction on a slider joint, but am having no luck in doing so. I have tried all of the different motion drivers and modifying the limit and displacement values, but have not been successful. I have checked the UG documentation and have searched online for an answer, but haven't come up with anything. There's got to be something I'm missing...
