NX11 - Creating Button Bitmaps

I found that to get the background of the button to blend in with NX11 toolbar, I had to use magenta color.

The problem I am having is getting lines in the button to show boldly. If I draw a black square with a light blue fill, the black lines look gray. How do you get the black lines to look black?

Looks like it is just about how thick the line is. The thicker it is the more it stands out. Not as tough as I thought it was. lol
