Hi All,

NX10.0.3.5 mp3

Never noticed this behavior before.

When doing a 'Move Object - Angle' if I pick the object to move first then set the 'Specify Vector' and then the 'Specify Axis Point' and click on the 'Point Dialog' option under 'Output Coordinates' I cannot reset the WCS - XYZ to Zero with reset button in the upper right corner of dialog. I can manually set the XYZ to zero but the reset button does nothing. Anyone else experienced this behavior.

Thanks,
Rick D

What is strange is if I Select the Object to move 1st then Select Angle, Specify Vector and Specify Axis Point and RESET WCS, it works but if I select Motion and Angle 1st then Select the Object it does not reset?

Checked this behavior on another NX10 machine without mp2 or mp3 and it works as expected.

I see the behavior that you are describing now. If you pick the rotation point before selecting the object, the point resets to absolute when the object is picked. At this point, choosing WCS and pressing the reset button does nothing. In NX 9, the selected WCS point stays where it should after the object is selected; the angle selector moves to absolute, but at least the point is correct.

I tested with NX 10.0.3.5 (no MP's installed). I'd suggest contacting GTAC; the behavior seems like a regression from NX 9.
