Hi,

I was wondering what type of timestep discretization is used in NX thermal for transient method.

Is it Crank-Nicolson, Euler explicit, Galerkin or Euler implicite?? Where can I find the informations?

Thank you

Hi ChrisHadfield,

If you have installed NX Documentation, you can refer to the N Thermal Solver TMG Reference Manual. For NX10, this file is located at the directory as such:

or

#:\Program Files\Siemens\PLM Documentation Server\Collections\nx\10\nx_help\en_US\graphics\fileLibrary\nx\tdoc_advanced_simulation

Regards,
Tuw
