NX Routing Mechanical 2D diagram convert to 3D CAD model possible?

Hi All,

If I create a 2D diagram in NX Routing Logical, can the 2D diagram be automatically convert into a 3D CAD assembly in NX for 3D visualization purpose?

I know there is a integration of Routing Mechanical and Routing Logical which provides automatic comparison between the two of them. But my boss thought that the 2D diagram can somehow be converted to 3D CAD, not just comparing.
