I'd like to lock the NX camera so the z axis is always pointing up on the computer screen. In film making the condition I'm trying to avoid is called a "canted" camera.

In Solidworks the command is called "rotate about scene floor". Does anyone know the NX equivalent?

Thanks!

You can try View - Rotate - lock Vertical axis. I guess that this is what you are looking for.
( I think (?) that there is a customer default to set this option permanent.)
Depending on the NX version this "rotate dialog" can be found in different places. But, Ctrl+R is valid in all versions.

Also note that you can snap z axis of the little csys in the lower left corner, -if this rotate about Z is a temporary desire.

Regards,
Tomas

That's exactly what I wanted. Thanks Tomas!
