NX - DMAP urgent information required

I am looking in detail at the programmers guide to work out how to access and modify NX DMAP programs from there. Basically it seems to be by modifying the the executive control section of NX input files.

Can anyone help and advise it is possible to write additional code in, say, FORTRAN or C++, and then call those routines from a DMAP program?
