I am having a issue in NX 11 I have a file that was baselined that when it is being opened opens as Modified even when this is the first part/assy opened in a session. Any ideas on how to fix this. I would think because this is a Baselined file it is a snapshot in time and should be opening the parts and revisions that were in the Assy when the part was baselined

NX baseline files opening as Modified

Was the file last saved in an older version of NX (pre-NX 11)? Menu -> information -> part -> part history will show the save history. If so, the internal file structure is being updated to the NX 11 format when opened and shows as "modified". Your admin can use the "refile_part" utility to update older files to the new format.

Are there wavelinks, promotions or interpart expressions?
These usually cause this behavior as well.
