NX 9 - Hole callout leader questions

I have the same question as above as well as another with how to edit hole callout leaders. In the attached image (R2.1 is for reference), I would like the hole callout to have the leader coming off the THRU instead of the bottom.
When you go to settings>line/arrow>arrow line of any dimension on the bottom there is an option to change the vertical alignment of the leader line but this option is missing in hole callout settings. My current work around is to remove the callout leader and create a note with just 'U' text, point to the hole and then align the 'U' over the U of THRU.

I do this:
1. add the hole callout text as usual. Now, don't add the GDT on the same hole callout window.
2. Use Feature Control Frame(FCF) to add the GDT and place anywhere on the drawing.
3. Then click and drag this GDT text to align it at the bottom of the hole callout text.

That doesn't work as the leader is still under the callout and cannot be moved to above or in line with the text. See attached picture with the GD&T removed and the note I was using as a work around.

When you drag the FCF (GD&T) to place under the hole callout text, NX should automatically try to align/snap it on certain position. Move around the GDT until it aligns to the position you want. If I understand you correctly, you want the leader to be moved to above or in line with the hole callout text.
Go to drafting preferences=>dimensions=>text=>hole callout. Under the leader attachment, you can select the leader to be on top, middle or bottom of text.
