NX 8.5 going slow during sketch

I have A surfaces and creating sections of B surfaces with reference with section curves (splines). But during sketching for every line i draw nx shows sketch updating and it takes lots of time. I am offseting splines for B surfaces.

I cant share prt file its confidential. If auto dimension and inffered constraints are of still it is getting slow. And is there any option to trim and extend splines in sketcher.
 
How many curves are there in a single sketch? How many curves are projected into the sketch from outside the sketch? How many intersection curves are in the sketch?

While you can 'Trim' a Spline created in a Sketch, it will lose it's internal parameterization (its knot points will no longer to editiable or constrained). You can't 'Extend' a spline created in a sketch.

Whilst you can't upload this particular model,
can you create a demonstration example with similar sketches and upload ?

Else it's like leaving your car at the garage with a note on it, "there is something wrong, please help."

We actually take a section section from 3d surfaces or solid bodies, then project those in sketch to propose a section for same. Consider a car window seal, when section curve are taken, there are 300 splines. So we project that in sketch.
 
300 splines projeted into a single sketch...that would certainly explain the slow performance that you're seeing.

But while projecting we use single spline option so that one spline is created.
 
Yes, but in the end, how many splines end-up in any one sketch?

It's makes no difference whatsoever whether you select one or a hundred splines to project into a sketch, if they're all going to be projected into the same sketch. Once any curve is projected into a sketch, it becomes a single sketch object. If multiple curves are added to a sketch in a single operation, nothing different happens than if they had been added one curve at a time.
