I am having problems getting PMI info to correctly transfer into Calypso for CMM measurement. I created a test block complete with GD&T callouts for datums, perpendicularity, parallelism, and true position. As well as basic dimensions. The Datums created correctly in Calypso. No GD&T carried over for some reason – no True Position characteristic was found, only “Size” dimensions. Unfortunately, the size dimensions were interpreted as lengths of lines on the edges, not plane-to-plane Cartesian dimensions. The lines are “Theoretical Lines”, not measured, so this is not useful.
Any idea of what I may be doing incorrectly? Is there a special function for specifying GD&T data instead of using the note function?
