Is it possible to subtract the human model built into NX from another part, such as a box? I am trying to use the subtract command but I am unable to select the human model.

I am trying to do this in order to perform a fluid flow analysis. Any help would be appreciated.

The 'Human' models have faceted bodies (excuse the pun) and therefore have the same limitations when it comes to using them in a modeling operations as any other faceted bodies. You can measure to them, do interference checking, etc, but they can not participate in modeling operations like Boolean Unites or Subtracts. However, like other faceted bodies, you can use the 'Rapid Surfacing' function to create surface models from the faceted bodies.

Thank you guys for the information, very informative. It appears there is no simple way to convert the NX human model to a solid model.

The solid model of a human in that thread is pretty much exactly what I need except in a bicycle riding position.
