Is anyone using the Nurbs tool paths in UG? We have a Fanuc control on one of our mills and want to try feeding it nurbs g-code.
1) How accurate is the code?
2) How does it handle sharp corners at the edge of two surfaces? Does it round them off or use two separate curves?
3) Does it create the tool paths as nurbs or fit curves through point to point g-code?
4) Any unusual behavior I should be aware of?
5) Anyone tried it and then quit?
6) Is it part of the standard cam package or an add on?
