Dear all,

Please help me as am a fresher in stress analysis…

When we do nozzle load check in CAESAR II for a nozzle oriented in 30 deg or 45 deg horizontally, should we rotate the whole system and align the nozzle with any axis and then check the nozzle load ?

thanks in advance

regards

Dear friend

It is possible but,

If you are using "Nozzle Lmt Check" the system coordinates are ABC, for versions 5.30 and higher.

You can use local coordinates system to check nozzle loads

Please see Caesar documentation, is very easy to understand

You can also translate the global loads using basic trig if necessary.
