I 'd like to inject chemical to 16"pipeline pressure 400 psi, what pressure 'd I have to supply to the nozzle ? and could u pls suggest me some nozzle vendors.

Usually chemicals are injected using PD pumps. Most of these will deliver "the needed pressure" (with some degree of efficiency and with an upper limit). In that case you actually dont have to worry about pressure expect with regards to design pressure - but it wont be 200 PSI above your operating pressure.

The PD pump also have the advantage of beeing a metering pump. That is that when the pump are at a certain rpm it will deliver a certain volume/time unit.

Nong!

Any pressure above 400 psi would be ok in your case. Instead of nozzles, as suggested by MortenA dosing pump could be a better option, where you can have control on the amount of dosing at minute levels and can be automated too if required. But take care that dosing pump should pump at more pressure than 400 psi.

Thank you MortenA & Quark,
I've some information about PD pump (Plunger Pump) but the problem I have is I can't find nozzle that has Male Pipe Thread at the nozzle tip since I have available threadolet vent 3/4" or 1 1/2" and 'ld like to use it as injection port. Could u pls suggest any websites

Have you ever heard about google? Its a search engine - try it out. Maybe one time before posting your question?. I used the ost logical search words: "Chemical injection nozzle" and the top threeitems looked great. This is the third on the list:

Maybe that will work?
