Hi,
I am using NX Nastran with Femap 9.0. Beside elastic properties I want to define nonlinear material with the following properties:

Compressive Strength – fc=3 N/mm2
Tensile Strength – ft=0.1 N/mm2
Strain at peak compressive stress ecp=0.0025
Strain at end of compressive softening curve ec0=-0.0125
Strain at end of tensile softening curve et0=0.002

How to do that?

Thanks,

P.S. I am trying to create masonry material model

The best you will be able to do with NX is a nonlinear elastic material. You will need to define a stress/strain table in the 3rd and 1st quadrants in FEMAP and then use this when your define the material as nonlinear and make sure you select a nonlinear elastic material. There is no special support for concrete unless you have Adina as well.

Can you also comment on the NX support. I heard it was not very good.
