I thought I would try this forum for some help outside my typical field...please see the attached sketch. I am in north Florida near coast and trying to decide whether I should vent a low slope roof space that is filled with blown insulation. I have read that it may not be needed in humid climates. My question is do I need to vent this space? If so how? What about alternative solutions external foam roofing insulation? Thanks

Shouldn't you look at some forum related to roofing construction?

Soffit venting is linked to HVAC as it influences heat loads from roof, but what you pointed at is some kind of roof construction venting that likely serves to release water vapor load on roof construction - I am only guessing as I did not go into specifics of roof construction. That does not seem to be HVAC subject.
