Dear Experts,

We are experiencing high vibration at ammonia booster pump. The spectrum shows dominant non-synchronous peak at 1.19 order. This pump has a double John crane mechanical seal (109B) in tandem arrangement. Is it something related with mechanial seal? Has anybody experienced any similar phenomenon in pump?

[Attached is the vibration report along with spectrums]

Your valuable comments, experiences are highly appreciated

Thanks in advance.

The arrow points to the pump shaft, not the casing. Is this really a shaft measurement, or a casing measurement?

Do you have a strobe light? I'd tune the strobe to the frequency of interest and have a look at that region. Might find a component creeping around or something.

I was going to suggest you post over here, but looks like you beat me to it [pipe]

Yes, Tmoose, this is a casing measurement.
