Hey,
let me first give you detail i want to know that how to calculate torque of non rotating rising stem globe valve(VALVE SPECIFICATION : 8 INCH CL-300 CAST STEEL GLOBE VALVE, BOLTED BONNET, OUTSIDE SCREW & YOKE ). like, i know the conventional method of calculating Torque for rising rotating stem globe valve(took reference from book design of valves & fittings by G.H pearson). but we used non-rotating rising stem in globe valve to reduce high thrust require to close the valve,we also used 2 bearings around which yoke sleeve rotates. is there any method to calculate how much reduction we get as compared to conventional rotating rising stem globe valve.
