I'm still in SW2007. I want to create a groove for an o-ring on a 3D contoured part. This groove will go around a hole for a vacuum. It's almost like I want to do a 3D revolve, which isn't possible as far as I can tell.

Any ideas for this one?

To add ... if I project the circles on the contoured face, I have a pair of curves. Can I do anything with those?

(I wish I could edit my posts rather than replying to myself.)

Never mind. Swept cut along the curve works. Nothing to see here.

Anytime.

You know, there wouldn't be much drama around here if everyone decided they could just answer their own questions all the time like that.
