TEMA gives a 'G' factor in calculating tube sheets (See TEMA RCB-7.132) which is the the gasket side 'ID'. well, our tube sheet is very skinny and very long, if I use G to be my shorter distance the required thickness is very thin, if I use G to be my longer distance than it is very thick. Which one should i use or should i use an effective diameter based on equivalent areas?
