I would appreciate any help with finding non-American, particularly ISO and / or European, standards equivalent to the following ASTM standards:
D256,
D395,
D412,
D624,
D638,
D790,
D1238,
D2240,
D383.
Look in the back of your 10th ed of the UNS handbook. It has some of the best cross references there are.
If you don't own a Unified Numbering System 10th ed, GET ONE. I have found that ASTM usually has the best price.

Corrosion never sleeps, but it can be managed.
ASTM D 256 --> ISO 180
D 395 --> ISO 815
D 412 --> ISO 37
D 624 --> ISO 34-1
D 638 --> ISO 527-1 & -2
D 790 --> ISO 178
D 1238 --> ISO 1183
D 2240 --> ISO 7619-1
ASTM D 383 does not exist. Did you forget a digit? You can obtain ASTM or ISO standards directly from ASTM or ISO respectively, or all of them from Global Engineering Documents.
