Node displacement equal for a node set

Hi,

I am using an axisymmetric model in Abaqus to simulate a cylinder being pressurised internally and wish to set the node displacement equal for all nodes across the top edge of the geometry which is the axial direction. Anyone know how to do this?

It depends on what exactly you want to simulate but MPC constraints (especially equation constraint) could help. You may also make the edge rigid using rigid body constraint.

How can I implement the MPC constraints? Had ago at rigid body constraints but was unsuccessful.

Check the documentation chapters Constraints --> Multi-Point Constraints --> Linear Constraint Equations and maybe also General Multi-Point Constraints. There it's explained how to define MPCs and how each one of them works.
