I updated from 2000i^2 to wildfire 1.0 then to 2.0. I have called into ptc tech support in regards to this as well. When I create a cut in sheetmetal using a circle on a cylindrical surface only passing through one wall, no axis will be created by the hole in wildfire 1.0 or 2.0. The axes were created 2000i^2. Anyone have the same issue or can guide me to a fix. The axes were used to assemble couplings to the shell.

Thanks,

Ben

Hi BTJLPI,

I do not use wildfire, but in 2001 there is a config.pro option "show_axes_for_extr_arcs" set to yes.

This may help...

Dont know if this will work for you but if you create the hole as a solid cut instead of a sheetmetal cut it will create the axis
