No Feature Library or Copy-Paste for Flat Pattern Environment?

Greetings,

I am currently running ST3 and moving to ST4 soon. I work nearly entirely in sheet metal files and would like to know why the neither Feature Library nor copying and pasting features is not supported while in the flattened environment of a sheet metal part. I am familiar with adding cutouts or tabs in the flat pattern manually, but having to draw the profiles EVERY TIME is not effective. I have also tried copying and pasting features both from bent-to-flat and within the flat with no success. Am I missing something?
